Detailed Information on Editing
Some things to remember when entering information into a record: the "Email" and "Email2" fields are for the personal email address' of the people in the record. The "Bus. Email" is for the business email. There are seperate fields for the home phone, cell phone, and other phone (which is usually used for a home private fax number if you have it) and also fields for business phone and fax numbers. Try to make sure these numbers get placed in the correct fields. If you have a fax number in a phone number field you will not be able to call that person. After you have changed/updated the information in the record you either can click on the Save button on the bottom right side or hold down the Alt key and hit the S.
If you have changed some information, but then aren't sure that the information is correct and you can't remember the original information to change it back to, you can hit the Cancel button. This will give you a box asking if you are sure you want to cancel. By choosing Cancel Changes, it will take you out of the Edit screen. The record will remain as it originally was when you first pulled it up on the screen. If you hit Don't Cancel, you will be placed back in the Edit screen of that record.
